Employment Bridge Scholarship Terms and Conditions Consent Page

Award description
The Kaplan University Bridge Scholarship is equal to a $500 per-term reduction in the program tuition, with a maximum value of $8,500 for a
bachelor’s degree and $4,500 for an associate’s degree.

General eligibility criteria to qualify for the employment bridge scholarship
•  ust be a first-time enrollee in an undergraduate degree program at Kaplan University; School of Nursing, certificate, and continuing students are
  M
  not eligible.

• Must meet all current admissions requirements for the online undergraduate degree program at Kaplan University.

• Must be currently dislocated from the workforce at the time of the application per the definitions of this Scholarship.

• Must provide proof of unemployment at the time of application in one of the following ways:

	          º Verification via the FAFSA as a dislocated worker
	          º Unemployment benefits letter or check stub
	          º Letter from state unemployment agency in your state of residence

• Must attest to unemployment at the time of application for the Scholarship.

• Must complete the Kaplan University Employment Bridge Scholarship application.

• Must take a minimum of 2 courses per term and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5.

• Must be continuously enrolled; withdrawing from school will result in ineligibility.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
•  ll application materials and proof of eligibility must be provided on or before the time of enrollment to be awarded the Scholarship. If all of the

  application materials and proof of eligibility are not provided to Kaplan University on or before the time of enrollment, the student is not eligible for
  the Kaplan University Employment Bridge Scholarship and will be responsible for the total cost of tuition for enrollment.

• If approved, the Scholarship will be applied as a tuition credit of $500 per term unless the student loses eligibility.

• If a student who is awarded the Employment Bridge Scholarship becomes employed while enrolled at Kaplan University, he or she will remain
  
  eligible for the Scholarship provided all other continuing eligibility criteria are met.

• The Scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other Kaplan University discounts (including active-duty and veterans military tuition
  
  rates), grants, vouchers, or scholarships.

• The Scholarship application must not contain any material that could be considered unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory,
  
  vulgar, obscene, indecent, sexually explicit, or hateful; or content that refers negatively to people or groups on the basis of their age, race, ethnicity,
  religion, sexual orientation, gender, national origin, handicap, disability, veteran status, or similar characteristics; or include material that is otherwise
  objectionable to the University.
