David Kalish was a veteran law enforcement executive whose 29-year tenure with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) embodied integrity, leadership, and public service. A native Angeleno, he earned degrees from CSU Northridge and USC, later completing Harvard’s Senior Executives in State and Local Government program. Rising to Deputy Chief, Kalish oversaw nearly 2,000 personnel across Hollywood, Pacific, Wilshire, and West L.A. divisions.
