2. It seems like 2013 is the year of the Mom Something. You have “Tan Mom,” Drunk Mom,
and now Teen Mom - who, by the way - was arrested in Nebraska for DUI. Farrah Abraham, aka
Teen Mom, gained her celebrity status or notoriety from her MTV hit show “Teen Mom” of
course. As an encore she became a porn star to add to her scandal laced portfolio. Her penalty for
DUI is no booze for six months. A more favorable charge for Abraham would undoubtedly have
been a time-out for 10 minutes.

In 2013, rap star Lil’ Wayne had a syrup problem. And no it wasn’t a result of going to IHOP
too much. He was actually addicted to cough syrup or by street name sizzurp. The young rapper
found himself in the hospital after his addiction to a concoction called 'syrup'—a mix of cough
syrup and codeine—which got the better of him. Well it appears Lil’ Wayne grew up, kicked the
habit and learned his lesson. Maybe he should now be called “Big Wayne.”

3. 8. Dina Lohan
Three’s company in the Lohan family. Not to be outdone by her ex husband Michael Lohan
and daughter Lindsay, Dina Lohan, was arrested for a DUI after blowing 0.20 percent alcohol--
more than double the legal limit of 0.08 percent -- when she was arrested by State Police on Sept.
12, court papers showed. The 51-year-old Lohan’ matriarch was charged with speeding after she
was stopped for driving a white BMW at 77 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone. The previous year,
Michael Lohan, was unsuccessful in staging an intervention, for Lindsay. Perhaps there is a deal
in the offing for a three for the price of one Lohan’ intervention.

4. 7. Madam Heidi Fleiss

Heidi Fleiss has transitioned from her former escort service to being escorted by police to
the slammer. This all started after the 42-year-old former madam was stopped by police in
Nevada under suspicion for DUI, and it was discovered that she was in possession of Meth early
in 2013. More recently, Heidi got pulled over and had 4 oz of green and $10,000 in cash in her
vehicle. Fleiss was eventually hauled to a nearby cop shop, where she was booked for DUI
(marijuana), possession of weed with intent to sell, and driving without a license and insurance.
Heidi’s penchant for pot is nothing new - in August officials say they found nearly 400 POT
PLANTS at her home. Fleiss said she was growing the weed for a cooperative in Vegas. And
let’s not forget the nude photos that surfaced this year.
Fleiss admitted that she “has a bit of a substance abuse problem.” Ya think.

The curse of the Kardhashian NBA basketball hubbies continues. First there was NBA baller
Kris Humphries who was thrown out of the Kardashian dysfunctional family by Ms. Kris herself
and recently Lamar Odom entered the mix. In 2013, the second-in-line to the Kardashian throne
and husband to Khloe Kardashian, was holed up in a private home in a gated community
smoking crack and partying with two young women. As a result of his transgression, Khloe is
purportedly filing for divorce. But wait folks, the story gets even more salacious. After Odom
went MIA in LA, he decided to compose a YouTube rap song about crack, which does not
appear to be a recipe for overcoming his addiction.

Reese “Do you know my name sir?” Witherspoon. I guess her experience playing a lawyer in
the movie “Legally Blonde” did not help Reese in April 2013, when she was famously stopped
and cuffed with her husband in Atlanta by police for disorderly conduct after hubby Jim Toth
was pulled over under suspicion of drunk driving. The normally affable Reese, normally affable,
was combative with the police officer to say the least and at one point told him insolently, “Do
you know my name sir? I guess Ms. Reese was channeling her inner M&M.

Who can everforget Toronto Mayor Tom Ford’s epic run in the Toronto City Council
Chamber. Ford, who allegedly smoked crack in a video that has yet to surface, was apparently
imitating a Canadian Football League (CFL) Toronto Argonauts running back as he plowed
through a crowded Toronto city Council meeting, nearly knocking down a fragile and mature
Councilwoman Pam McConnell in the process. Ford apparently charged through the City
Council chamber because his brother Doug was in an argument with a spectator. "This is a seat
of democracy, not a football field," says McConnell. "I wasn't ready for it." Rule No. 1 when in
the vicinity of Rob Ford: Make sure you are wearing proper padding and a helmet.

Lady Gaga is a marijuana chain-smoker. Apparently, 2013 was the year of celebrities’
smoking weed on stage. See Lady Gaga (above) burning one during a concert. She has revealed
details of her marijuana addiction, explaining that at one point, she was smoking 15 to 20
marijuana cigarettes a day, according to news reports. That rivals the amount of attire changes
she makes in a concert.

9. 2. Amanda Bynes
Former “Hairspray” movie and Nickelodeon television starlets, Amanda Bynes, looks like
she didn’t use enough hairspray (above). Bynes was charged earlier 2013 with reckless
endangerment and marijuana possession after building managers called police because they said
she was smoking pot in the lobby of her Manhattan apartment. When officers entered her 36th
floor apartment, they said they saw her heave a bong out the window. Bynes was also credited
with starting a fire on a stranger’s driveway. After spending time in a Malibu rehab she was
diagnosed with schizophrenia, which shows that drugs and mental behavior disorders don’t mix.
Others with a similar condition -usually undergo dual diagnosis at rehab facilities. On a bright
note, Bynes was last seen strolling with her parents on Christmas looking quite healthy and her
hair looked about three inches thinner.

As if her days at body heaving or more commonly coined Twerking were not enough.
Myley Cyrus lit up a blunt while on stage at the DEMA’s (Dutch version of the EMA’s) in
Amsterdam. When accepting her award for best video, “Wrecking Ball.” Cyrus casually took a
blunt out of her purse and lit it up on stage. Well her hit song is Wrecking Ball, but she appears
to be a veritable “Ship Wreck.”
In conclusion, Inspirations for Youth, a leading national teen rehab, wants parents and teens to
know that drugs can ruin your life, even if you are a celebrity! The anecdotes above are used to
serve as a cautionary tale. The moral of the story is don't do drugs!
