Cole W. Camplese serves as the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Stony Brook University. Reporting directly to President Samuel L. Stanley, he serves on President Stanley's senior leadership team, and oversees the Division of Information Technology which provides, operates, and maintains computing and telecommunication facilities, and equipment and services that meet the needs of the educational, research, and administrative programs of the University. Camplese also collaborates with the Chief Information Officer of Stony Brook University Hospital in the development of information systems between the main academic campus and the medicine campus.
