You Only Have Two Things That Can
  Differentiate You From The Pack

              1. The phrases that you use to
                 describe the benefits of your
                 product/service to the prospect

              2. How you sound on the phone.
                 This accounts for a staggering
                 84% of the meaning
                 transferred

Change The Very First Words You Say

               Don’t say – “Hello Prospect, it’s
John Smith here, I’m calling from
XYZ Company and the reason for
                my call today is…”
 Everybody says that – be
                different!
 Just be calm and say “Hello
Prospect, It’s John Smith, how are
                you?”
 Let the initial few seconds
                unfold a bit more naturally

Don’t Be Afraid To ‘Play’ A Little
At The Beginning of The Call

             Brighten up someone’s day!
You can always get straight to the
point if they don’t want to play
You’ll be surprised how many people
will warm to a joyful and playful
             approach
Most peoples day’s are full of
             stress and pressure
Be a breath of fresh air!

Add Value
          Give a benefit, don’t TAKE
          people’s time
Don’t say “I’d like to drop by and
          introduce myself and my company”.
          That’s taking their time
Instead say “I’d like to sit down with
you for 25 minutes to see how we
may be able to help you reduce your
overall cost of ______ and increase
your ______ results… this is our
          area of speciality.”
          That’s adding value
