No other animation company has surpassed Disney and Pixar when it comes to computer
animated movie quality. And we don’t say that lightly. There have been many other CGI
animation companies out there, but there’s just something about Disney/Pixar movies that

Up
This gem was simple, funny, and had extraordinary depth without flaunting it. The first
sequence had absolutely zero dialogue, but carried more emotional gravitas than the entire
“Twilight” franchise. The rest of the film was filled with rib-splitting comedy and characters
wrought with tragedy. This is as deep and as bittersweet as it gets.
Finding Nemo
Technically, “Finding Nemo” was brilliant. The effort it took to create an underwater world
with that much detail and color was just outstanding. But as with any other Disney/Pixar
movie, it was the writing and the characters that were funny, relatable, and real that caught
everyone’s attention and pulled on their hearts.

Compared to “Up”, “Inside Out” was a more in-your-face exploration of a person’s
emotions. In fact, it was a literal look at how a young girl felt. The way the movie was made
was to cater to children, what with all the theme park-esque mindscapes. But adults would
find themselves drawn in by the sentimentality revealed as the story progresses.
