We would rather live in Rome. Rome is surrounded by trading Empires , such as China,
India, Egypt , Spain, and Britain. There is also vast exchanges between Africa too. Living in
Rome is also good because you can get your tax fee brought down by donating crops. The
importance of manufacturing and industry completed o their agriculture.
China, India, All parts of Europe , Spain, Asia, Britain, and Africa produced material
such as cotton, spices, ivory. mined metal, fossilized amber gems, slaves and wild animals.Cities
and towns throughout the empire declared small scale factories, which made hand made pottery,
glassware, weapons, tools, jewelry, and textiles. Trading roots were developed on land and sea.
The exchange of trading was alive and well, but the Romans used the most developed
coinages system. The coins were made out of materials such as bronze, brass, copper, gold, and
silver. These materials were mined, minted and then checked for the correct weight ,size, and
shape. If any of these categories were off, the coins would be considered fake.
When the first settlers first came to Rome, they thought if was a perfect place to live
The hills made the area easier to defend themselves. The soil was easy to farm on, and it had
a river which was convenient for a water resource. The river flowed through the Rome and
emptied into the tyrrhenian sea. As centuries passed the Romans had discovered that their
location of their city gave them extra advantages. the advantages that were given to them were
the fact that they are a peninsula, and the fact that they were now surrounded by water it made it
easy for trading and traveling.
As in ancient Greece women are controlled under the influence of man and the women
2. could be hurt and murdered, but are in Rome the women were treated respectfully and most of
the women were put in the upper class.
As you see from the facts Rome is the better economy and location to live in.
