University of Minnesota alone has over 50,000 enrolled students.
• The MSP metro consistently ranks among the most educated places in the U.S. Nationwide, 29 percent
of adults have at least a bachelor’s degree, a full 10 percentage points below Minneapolis-St. Paul’s
attainment levels. And among younger MSP residents (25 to 44 years old), approximately 45 percent
have at least a bachelor’s degree, substantially greater than the national average of 32 percent.
