CSI: Miami on Channel 5 had the lowest viewership with 1.14 million and follows a team of investigators solving crimes in Miami using scientific methods and police work.

1. New Tricks is a British television drama series that follows the work of the fictional Unsolved
Crime and Open Case Squad (UCOS) of the Metropolitan Police Service. Led by Detective
Superintendent Sandra Pullman, it is made up of retired police officers who have been
recruited to reinvestigate unsolved crimes. The series title is taken from the popular
expression "You can't teach old dog new tricks”. The target audience is older people because
it is quite traditional and has famous actors from their time. This is one of the reasons that it
is on BBC1.
2. Hunted Australian actress MelissaGeorge stars as Samantha, an espionage operative for
‘’Byzantium” a private intelligence agency. She survives an attempt on her life, which she
strongly suspects was orchestrated by members of her own squad. After recovering and
returning to active duty, she goes back to work undercover as a nanny, not knowing who
tried to kill her or whom to trust. It becomes evident that the attempt on her life is tied into
a horrific event from her childhood. The first series is based in London. The target audience
is for older people because it is quite a straight forward storyline, it is on BBC1.
3. Homeland is a TV series that follows Carrie Mathison, a CIA operations officer who, after
conducting an unauthorized operation in Iraq, is put on probation and reassigned to the
CIA's CounterterrorismCenter in Langley,Virginia. In Iraq, Carrie was warned by an asset that
an American prisoner ofwar had been turned by al-Qaeda. Carrie's job grows complicated
when her boss calls Carrie and her colleagues in for an emergency briefing. Carrie learns that
Nicholas Brody, a US MarineSergeant who had been reported as missinginaction since 2003,
has been rescued during a DeltaForce raid on a compound belonging to terrorist Abu Nazir.
Carrie comes to believe that Brody is the American prisoner of war that her asset in Iraq was
talking about. However, the federal government and her superiors at the CIA consider Brody
a warhero. Realizing it would be nearly impossible to convince her boss to place Brody under
surveillance, Carrie approaches the only other person she can trust, Saul Berenson. The two
must now work together to investigate Brody and prevent another terrorist attack on
American soil.The target audience is younger people because it sound quite grusome and
gorey, and it is on channel 5.
4. CSI: Miami follows a South Florida team of forensic investigators/police officers who use
both cutting-edge scientific methods and old-fashioned police work to solve crimes.
Lieutenant Horatio Caine heads the team of investigators while working crimes in the
steamy tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. Horatio, his second in
command Detective Calleigh Duquesne, and their team (Delko, Boa Vista, Wolfe, Tripp,
Simmons, Donner, Speedle, Woods, Price, Salas, Loman, and Cardoza) probe cases similar to

CSI: Miami was filmed primarily in the United States. Indoor scenes were shot at Raleigh
Manhattan Studios in Manhattan Beach, California. The majority of all outdoor scenes were
filmed in Long Beach, California.
