Completed 3 weeks of temporary work aboard M/Y Polar Star (63m) in the MB92
shipyard in Barcelona, Spain. (May 2015).
Duties included: Servicing pneumatic driven valves, installing new piping,
machining new brackets and fittings, installing various fittings on vessels interior
Internship at Sportable Technology Pty Ltd. ( Nov 2014 – Feb 2015).
Designed, built and refined an automated test rig for an electronic impact sensor.
Completed 7 weeks of vacation work in the control lab at the University of Cape Town,
Electrical Engineering Department. (2014).
Developed a wireless communications system for a remote control car.
Completed 5 weeks of vacation work at Belmet, Marine Steel Fabrication (Nov-Dec
