Elizabeth Swider, Certified Senior Advisor, is the founder and president of the geriatric care management company “Care is There.” Care is There provides services to support (1) busy and long distance caregivers with loved ones in central Virginia, (2) people who choose to age in place, and (3) people recovering from injury or surgery or dealing with chronic illness. Elizabeth is also co-owner of Quality Caregiver Placement, which helps families find and hire qualified caregivers. Elizabeth is the chairwoman of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce “Aging in Place Business Round Table,” founder of www.cvilleseniors.org and author of “The Caregiver’s Secret."
