The Objective
Prerequisites
From the Manufacturing Client - set
requirements, budget, and time
were of highest importance
and not to be exceeded.
Background
The Client decided to build a new factory
in Asia in order to support an increased
market demand for conveyer components.
Along with constructing the factory,
a suitable digital platform was
needed to support all major
business areas.
Goal
The main objective was to have a fully
operational digital platform before
the start of the first factory
production order.
Challenge
As the completion of the factory construction
was within a very limited time frame, there was
even more pressure to implement the digital
platform. Capgemini’s pre-configured SAP
MFGPath solution was chosen as the best
option to fulfill all the demands from the Client,
from both a business and a time-constraint
perspective.
