Dear Parents,
Eighth grade BEAM students are scheduled to see a live
performance of Christopher Shinn’s Now or Later on Friday,
November 9th at the Wimberly Theater in Boston.
“On election night, the son of a Presidential candidate sends his
father’s political team into crisis mode when controversial photos of
him at a college party spread over the Internet, potentially sparking
an international incident. Smart and timely, Christopher
Shinn’s searching new play examines religion, freedom of expression,
and personal responsibility.”
A visit from the Huntington’s education department will be
planned in order to familiarize students with the play and
playwright.
The cost for the performance and the bus trip is $18.00 (make
checks payable to MSMS, memo: “BEAM”). We will have breakfast or
lunch off-site (Pru or Burlington Mall depending on running time
of performance). Please complete the permission form below and
return to me as soon as possible.
