ITs not completely different from googling, but (Activity 2) using twitter, try searching a topic and see how much you learn and what the latest news you dig up is?
Exercise using Twitscope: 1. Scan topics and choose a keyword. 2. Read twits related to that keyword, identify facts and possible sources. 3. Take the info organize it into the structure of a news story. 4. Take what you’ve got and compare it by checking news media and googling. How close were you? How much more or less info do you have?
