Bianca Alvarado graduated with distinction in International Relations and Spanish from San Diego State University (2012) and study abroad in Uruguay through the distinguish Gilman Scholarship (2011). For a year in 2012, she was the water research assistant of the Border Environmental Justice Campaign for the Environmental Health Coalition. She has worked with indigenous students through the Mixtec Culture Exchange Program and engaged with International Youth Leaders as the Coordinator Associate for the Hansen Summer Institute.
