2. We met one day, so it seemed by chance, All it took was just one glance

3. To start a friendship between me and you, That quickly and easily, steadily grew.

4. We found in each other a love so pure That our hearts and minds were instantly sure.

5. For a year we had all the time to build A bond that was so completely filled.

6. You enlisted yourself to chase your dream, To become a soldier and part of the team.

7. I wrote school papers and letters to you, Our love proved to be stronger and true.

8. The years went by so slow it seemed, Being together was all we dreamed.

9. States apart with very little leave, It was harder than others may believe.

10. We grew up separate, but not apart, The absence really bonded our hearts.

11. We each changed a lot and also matured, But we became closer because of what we endured.

12. When school was over, I visited more, But you were gone a lot because of the war.

13. Each visit, it got harder to say goodbye, Because when together our hearts could fly.

14. We finally decided to lay it all on the line, We knew in our hearts that it was time. So on January 12 2010, We both married our very best friend.

17. We moved in together and started sharing a life, It is amazing to say we are husband and wife.

18. Each day I learn something more about you, And I am always amazed at all that you do.

19. This year we have accomplished so many things,

23. Happy 1 year Wedding Anniversary! This year has been so amazing! We have done so many things and we have gone so many places. Every day I have discovered something new about you, and I fall deeper in love with you because of it. Looking back, over all we went through, I am so happy we made it. I feel so blessed to be married to my best friend, someone who has loved me and supported me through it all. We grew up together, we know the same hometown, we had the same teachers, we sweat on the same tennis court. We know each other better than we know ourselves most days.
