Simple as that!
We run a number of gentle and
progressive learn to swim &
water safety courses. They are
designed for children from 8
weeks to 5 years old. Our prima-
ry aim is to teach your child to
swim whilst being confident and
safe in the water
Classes are great fun. We use
lots of songs and toys to not only
aid teaching swimming concepts
but also to ensure both parent
and child have lots of fun!
All our teachers are STA quali-
fied and boast many years of
experience teaching . Despite
this, the key ingredient that all
Baby Paddlers teachers bring is
passion. This ensures our cours-
es are top class & ensures that
our customers love what we do.
The swimming pool at Norton
Park Hotel is a beautiful spa pool
om fantastic surroundings. Typi-
cally this pool is heated at 30°C.
which makes it a great place for
babies and toddlers to be intro-
duced to the water.
2. Logistics. There is plenty of car parking space outside the front
of Norton Park Hotel. Follow parking around to the right following the
signs for Reflections Spa. Upon arrival, the spa receptionist will
provide towels and show you to the changing rooms.
Changing Facilities. There are both male and female
changing rooms with showers and lockers. Baby changing mats are
available upon request.
Pool Hygiene. Without exception all babies / toddlers regard-
less of whether they are potty trained or not MUST wear our double
nappy system: a disposable paper swim nappy with a neoprene
‘Happy Nappy’ on top. This is to ensure that any accidents do not have an impact on other pool users.
Illness. You should not bring your child swimming if they have any illness such as an ear infection, diarrhoea,
chicken pox, impetigo, conjunctivitis or a bad cold. In the instance of sickness / diarrhoea your child must have been
clear of all symptoms for at least 7 days before entering the pool.
Catch Up Classes. We offer one free catch up class per course to children that miss a class, where availabil-
ity allows.
One Adult & One Child in the Pool At a Time. All classes require one parent / guardian n the
water with their child. If both parents wish to swim with the child,
the best option is to take alternate weeks, whilst the other watches
the class from pool side.
Visitors Welcome. Extended family and friends are wel-
come to come and watch. Anybody that enters poolside must
remove their shoes.
Joining a Class with Friends. If you wish to join friends
on an existing class, just let us know at registration time & we will
do our best to accommodate (depends upon availability).
Classes offer a unique opportuni-
ty for both parent and child to
spend time in the water together
bonding and a great time to
improve communication.
Time for children to build new
skills in a group environment
which in turn increases confi-
dence. A strong foundation to
build on in all walks of life.
