2. Journey of GGC:
At the time of its establishment in 1999 the college had eleven teachers and less than three
hundred students. At present Gautam Group of Colleges has four colleges named Gautam
College, Gautam Polytechnic, Gautam Institute of Management & Technology & Gautam
College of Nursing. These colleges are running many diploma, graduate & Postgraduate
programmes like MBA, BBA, BCA, PGDCA , B.SC (Hons.) , Biotech, M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc. (Botany),
M.Sc. (Chemistry), MSc (Micro- Biology), Polytechnic ( (CSE, ECE,, EE, ME, , Civil, HM, IT, Architect),
GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, B.A, B.Com, M.A., English & Political Science which are affiliated to HPU/HPTU
& HPTSB. The GGC is an attempt to serve the ends of technological excellence which is the quest
of mankind from centuries. Our aim is to impart the best of knowledge to our students with well

Gauatm college of Nursing is a modern nursing institution
established in 2013. The institute is providing quality education in
nursing at affordable means. The institute is attached with Zonal
Hospital Hamirpurfor clinical and community training courses by
the order of H.P. Govt.
College has employed well experienced, well educated, dedicated
and well behaved faculty. It has well furnished, well equipped
laboratories & library apart from spacious auditorium for organizing
seminars, running educational and cultural activities, spacious and
ventilated classrooms housed in the same multi storey building. It
