AMS® SIGHT BOSS™ Procedures

1. Follow all plant safety procedures, including permits to open sight glasses. Close top and SIGHT BOSS TM bottom process SIGHT GLASS CLEANER valves to vessel. INSTRUCTIONS

2. Carefully see that no process pressure exists before removing top and bottom drain and vent plugs. SIGHT BOSS TM SIGHT GLASS CLEANER INSTRUCTIONS

3. Carefully open bottom drain valve and then Top vent valve. Purge process material to drain, vent and depressure. SIGHT BOSS TM Allow sight glass time SIGHT GLASS CLEANER to reach ambient temperature before INSTRUCTIONS continuation with this procedure.

4. At ambient temperature add appropriate cleaning fluid to sight glass and select the correct SIGHT BOSS TM length SIGHT GLASS CLEANER SIGHT BOSSTM rod with brush. INSTRUCTIONS Cleaner Fluid

5. Close bottom drain valve and pour cleaner fluid in the sight glass. Insert brush into drain or vent valves. SIGHT BOSS TM SIGHT GLASS CLEANER INSTRUCTIONS

6. Actuate SIGHT BOSS rod and brush in the sight glass. SIGHT BOSS TM SIGHT GLASS CLEANER INSTRUCTIONS

19. Actuate SIGHT BOSS rod and brush in the sight glass. May require several passes to clean glass. SIGHT BOSS TM SIGHT GLASS CLEANER INSTRUCTIONS
