As a Senior Hydrogeologist, Mr. Basu has designed numerical models using MODFLOW to predict inflow and seepage to underground mines and tunnels, developed computer code to automate geochemical and hydrogeologic data evaluation, prepared material safety handling plan for regulatory agencies, managed and supervised projects involving acid mine drainage prevention, designed bioreactors for selenium treatment, performed pump tests / packer tests, trained new employees, authored many technical reports to clients.
