This document lists the NATO phonetic alphabet used internationally for spelling out words. It contains the letters A through Z and their corresponding code names such as Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, and so on up to Zulu. The phonetic alphabet is used to clearly communicate letters to avoid confusion that might arise from similar sounding letters.
