Whilst Tommy Scott and the Senators where
playing at a working men’s club, Jones was
picked up by Gordon Mills (above). Mills
became Toms manager and took the young
singer to London to become a solo singer.

5. Tom started an internationally

Sadly and suddenly Gordon Mills
passed away. This gave Mark
(Jones’ son) a chance and he
quickly became his personal
manager and released ‘A boy from
nowhere’
