1) Project: Evaluation of Maximum Power Point Tracking Techniques in PV Systems:
Description: The project mainly focuses on the performance evaluation of “Perturb & Observe” and “Incremental Conductance”
algorithms as the most commonly utilized two Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques for photovoltaic systems. The
simulation model of a PV module is constructed based on the one-diode mathematical model of a solar cell. A boost type DC/DC
converter topology is utilized and modeled and simulation models for “P&O” and “IncCond” algorithms are constructed. According to the
results, both of the algorithms have shown almost similar performances under identical test conditions.
2) Thyristor Based Fault Current Limiter to Control Magnitudes of Fault Currents:
Description: The most common ways to limit fault currents are the costly replacement of substation equipments or imposition of
changes in the configuration splitting power system that may lead to decreased operational flexibility and lower reliability. A novel idea is
to use Fault Current Limiters (FCLs) to reduce the fault current to lower, acceptable level so that the existing switchgear can still be used
to protect the power grid. This project presents controlling the magnitude of fault current by using non super conducting fault current
limiter with the help of controlled rectifier. By reduce the magnitude of fault current in a power system, which improve the voltage profile
at faulted phase. The proposed NSFCL was simulated and studied with the help of MATLAB.
Academic Project: Automatic irrigation system through solar power
Project description:
We already know that Indian economic mainly depends upon the agriculture system but in a present days the agriculture system
was not so effective, so we introduce a new technology that is “Automatic irrigation system through a solar power” The main objective of
the project is to produce crops in the efficient manner without any presence of any persons, and it doesn’t requires a manual operations.
The shortage of a electricity will be reduce because this system is running on a solar power.
