Why isn't life fair, well first and foremost everyone has ups and downs, but it is how you get
along with them, not how they treat you. Subsequent to that is that life doesn't always give you
lemons, so when it doesn't it is about how you end up find or figuring out how to get to solution
(lemons). And ultimately people may have the same problems as you, but you saying life just
isn't fair doesn't help your case or even make people want to help you. So why isn't life fair is it
the idea of failure or getting humiliated, or is it not knowing how to get to the solution and being

"Life's not fair."
It's been seven years since I first heard those words from my fifth grade teacher, who relayed them
to me when he awarded one of my classmates a piece of chocolate and didn't give one to me. I told
him that he wasn't being fair, and all he said was, "Life's not fair." I argued with him for days about
that, thinking, "How could it not be?" But he just told me that someday I would learn. Eventually, I
did.
In October of my freshman year, my older brother Kyle was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain
cancer. He was 18, only two and half years older than me. He could no longer attend school. He
was in and out of the hospital. Sometimes he could walk and other times he couldn't. That year,
there was so much sorrow and suffering, but also pleasure in the little joys of life. Somehow, Kyle
still managed to maintain his positive attitude and touch the lives of those around him. He was able
to graduate in June, but after that, his condition turned for the worst. His life ended in July, just a
month after his graduation. We were close, and we became especially close when he was sick. He

In present day, fairness is hard to get for everyone. In order to achieve fairness, we would have to
find a way to create it for everyone individually, which is nearly impossible. We cannot create one
single form of fairness, which dedicates itself to everyone, because not everyone can be suited by
