OVERVIEW OF FACTORS AFFECTING KNOWLEDGE OF PREGNANT
WOMEN HYPOTENSION IN PREGNANT WOMEN IN PUSKESMAS
MANYAK PAYED YEAR 2011

Hypotension (hypotension) is a state where a person's blood pressure falls
below the normal rate, which reached a low value of 90/60 mm Hg, one of the
effects of hypotension in pregnant women is Low Birth Weight (LBW), whereas
the leading cause of neonatal mortality in Indonesia is Infant Low Birth Weight
(LBW) by 29%, 0.56% in the province of Aceh, in Aceh Tamiang 0.5% and in the
Sub District Manyak Payed as much as 0.33%.
This study aims to determine Overview Factors Affecting Knowledge
About Hypotension in Pregnant Women Pregnant Women In Manyak Payed
Health Center in 2011.
This study uses the dependent variable is Knowledge About Pregnancy
Hypotension and independent variables: education, age and information.
Descriptive study with cross sectional approach is implemented at the health
center Manyak Payed from 18 s / d July 26, 2011. Entire population of pregnant
women who visited the health center districts Aceh Tamiang Manyak Payed Year
2011. The sampling technique used Accidental sampling technique is to take cases
or respondents who happened to be there or available for conducting research in
the health center to determine besara Manyak Payed semapelmenggunakan
Lamenshow formula as many as 96 samples
This study found no trend of association between maternal education and
maternal age of pregnant women with the knowledge of hypotension in pregnant
women and there is a relationship trend information with knowledge of the
relationship between pregnant women about the hypotension in pregnant women
Expected to health workers, especially health clinic Manyak payed to
further enhance the promotion - health promotion to the public, especially
pregnant women about the dangers of hypotension in pregnant women and ways
to prevent the occurrence of hypotension in pregnant women.
