Final Year Project (Selected among Top 15 in the Department out of 60 groups) High Voltage DC Power Supply
My final year project is the development of a high voltage dc power supply up to 32kv. We are using the push-pull
technique to gain a high frequency and ferrite core transformer to step up the voltage up to 1kv. After this we are
using a cock-craft Walton multiplier to step up the voltage up to 32 KV. For the measurement of high voltage we
have used a voltage divider circuit using 120 resistors of 50 KΩ and 3W. Total resistive load will be 5.9 MΩ. We
calculate the voltage across one resistance and multiply it with the multiplying factor of 120.
