About
Yoshinobu Adachi participated in buildingSMART in 1998, and joined IFC Specification Task Force (STF) in 1999, thereafter Model Support Group (MSG) to develop IFC specification. He had been the Technical Coordinator as International Technical Management (ITM) member to develop buildingSMART standards such as IFC and MVDs. From 2001 to 2002, he worked at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland for a research project, IFC Model Server development project. In 2017, he was awarded buildingSMART Fellow.
