2. Academic project undertaken
Use of bamboo reinforcement instead steel and check whether it can be replaceable or not.
The attempt of replacing bamboo instead of steel has been made. Various tests like
Compression test, Tension test and Water absorption test have been conducted on specimen.
The comparison made considering cost, strength, various properties of steel as well as bamboo.
Estimation for bamboo and steel reinforcement has been prepared. Final conclusion made by
comparing both specimen with each other.
