About
I am a Clinician Scientist (Ophthalmologist) with special interest in retinal disorders. I served as the director of both the Macula clinic and the Retina clinic of the Tokyo University Hospital, and had led both basic and clinical research at the University of Tokyo. Currently my main interest is to novel biomarkers and targets, and development of potential anti-angiogenic therapeutics in partnership with pharmaceutical industry.
