was at a loss about what to do, how to do it, and in which order.

A trip to the site gave me a better idea of the state of affairs: it was chaos: tenants not paying
rent, buildings needing immediate attention, etc...
As I was hoping to improve things, it was clear I needed to find a good local professional. I
googled 'estate agents in Israel, maintenance' and this is how I found Yoel Spiegel.
Maybe it's beginner's luck. Anyhow, I could not have made a better choice. In the year of so
that followed, Yoel ticked all the boxes: efficient, ethical yet astute, computer-agile, communi-
cative, foreseeing, and all that with a good sense of humour! Yoel Spiegel showed all those
qualities. He successfully followed and completed multiple tasks, and advised me on the
best decisions in a complex, interwoven fabric of sometimes contradicting arguments. Our
combined efforts resulted in stopping the financial haemorrhage and setting the company in
motion again.
As the months went by, I realised that, in spite of promising results, because of my ignorance
both of Hebrew and of local practices, of the physical and cultural distance, it would be
unwise to try and develop the company to its full potential (I'm 66 years old). I would be
better advised to sell.
Icing on the cake: after 18 months, Yoel announced that he had found a buyer. I agreed on
the price. An almost frantic sequence of actions followed, performed both by a group of
lawyers Yoel recommended and by professionals in the purchasing party. The whole proce-
dure was orchestrated by Yoel. In about two weeks of finding the buyer, all the documents
were ready, and the deal was signed. The moneys were transferred even before the due
date.
Following all this, I can only warmly recommend Mr Spiegel as a trustworthy, serious, crea-
