3. The Integral Learning for Sustainable Living
seminars aim to assist people from all walks of life
in deepening their understanding of their
emotional, social, and ecological issues.
In the safe and confidential space of a closed
group, eight to ten participants are invited to
explore their difficulties with living sustainable
lives with the aim of making their lives more
enjoyable and socially and ecologically
sustainable.
4. You are likely to benefit from these seminars if you:
◦ Feel dissatisfied with aspects of your life
◦ Wish to enhance your communication skills
◦ Struggle with addictions
◦ Wish to enhance your sense of connection with other
people and the more-than-human world
◦ Enhance your conflict resolution skills
◦ Feel you would benefit from joining a small group of
people with the aim of creating friendships based on
mutual caring for one another and the planet.
5. Increased life satisfaction, body-awareness,
communication skills, and understanding of the
psychosocial and environmental causes of illness
significantly reduce individuals’ ecological footprints
and thereby the pressure on our ecosystems.
As expenditures for environmental protection and the
management of catastrophes continue to increase,
community-based health and sustainable living
initiatives are likely to become more important. This
seminar series is such an initiative.
6. To find sustainable solutions for struggles with
sustainable living
To enhance personal communication and the
ability to be emotionally connected to people
To share with others successful sustainable
living strategies
To practice self-awareness and self-regulation
To understand the sustainable needs behind
unsustainable wants
To deepen understanding of the links between
personal and environmental sustainability.
8. Eight to ten participants attend ten fortnightly
meetings of three hours
Alternatively the seminars can be offered as
two weekend workshops
A short version of four meetings is available
The topics of this abbreviated version are
marked with (SV 1 to 4) in the following slides

sustainability mapping process and support others
in their explorations.

with a 45-minute presentation and discussion on an
important aspect of sustainable living.
These small educational presentations and
