Academic Projects:
Senior Design, Aircraft Design, Project Lead
Successfully led a twenty-man team of mechanical, aerospace, and computer
engineers in the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design, and fabrication
and testing of a collaborative, unmanned, airborne system that used a 20 foot
long blimp to deploy, recover, and recharge a small quadcopter.
Senior Thesis, Endocardial Heat Transfer
Performed a literature review of the state-of-the-art of determining endocardial
convection coefficients, and created a numerical model of radiofrequency
cardiac ablation. Presented the findings in a thesis paper and a thesis defense.
Principles of Measurement and Instrumentation, Project Lead
Successfully led a four-man team in the design, fabrication, and testing of a
bench scale experiment which observed forced convection heat transfer from a
sphere
