CandleLight is an interactive ambient lamp that can create different atmospheres and colors by how users hit or touch it. It uses Laban Movement Analysis and the qualities of effort, time, space, weight, and flow to analyze how physical interaction can produce dynamic movement qualities. The lamp is designed to encourage social interaction, as sustained touching of two lamps together causes the colors to spread between them.

2. Design Concept
Our design aimed to produce a interactive ambient lamp which can
create special atmospheres with different colors.While we hit our
candle,we also heat our relationship.

3. To understand the body movement, we use Laban Movement Analy-
sis (LMA) . LMA is divided into four qualities that are Body, Effort,
Shape, and Space Harmony. Among these qualities, Effort has four
subcategories, each of which has two polarities, and could be used to
describe the dynamic of movement. Our intention is to analyze the re-
lationship between a product and rich movements, and thus we
chose Effort, including time, space, weight, and flow, to explore possi-
ble dynamic qualities of movements in physical interaction.

5. Our Form is one in a hundred !
We concerned whether our light is easy to hold and to be placed on
a desk. Also considering the shape, size, affordance, companion,
personification, and openness of its form, we chose the this proto-
type as the final form.
We also collect many differ-
ent forms to give us more
ideas.
