Extensive experience in research and development within large national and EU Semantic Web/AI research projects (in positions of junior and leading investigator or research manager). Professional expertise in the theory of AI, NLP, ontology engineering and bio-informatics, practical skills in development of middle-scale applications (in Python, C, Java and Prolog programming languages). Experience in industrial transfer of research technologies and in related educational activities. Involved in standardization activities (at W3C). Currently focusing on the research of novel AI techniques for describing and enabling knowledge emergence from on-line content.
