I find great challenges, rewards, and downright fun in learning about how things work and sharing that in ways people can relate to. I realize that not everyone cares about trash and recycling and re-use to the passionate extent that I do! I am fascinated by behavior change strategies and the concept of the tipping point--I seek out a way to grab a moment of someone's attention and perhaps engage them in thinking about where something goes after they use it. Our society is great at whisking items away from sight. I also appreciate the struggles of just being a human getting through the day and that we have limited mental bandwidth. I also value humor greatly--there's enough bad news...
