AUSTRALIAN COMPANY, CGEAR CREATOR OF NEW SAND-FREE MULTIMAT, NAMES
CGPR AGENCY OF RECORD.
MELBOURNE, Australia (February 26, 2010) - Effective immediately, CGear, creator of
the new CGear Sand-Free Multimat will team with CGPR, (www.cgprpublicreatlions.com) a
public relations firm specializing in consumer public relations, to introduce CGear (www.cgear-
sandfree.com) and its products to the United States. Products will be available for consumers in
the United States in May 2010.
“With the CGear Sand Free Multimat’s success in Australia, as well as the United States
military, the next step was to bring our technology to the U.S. consumer market,” said Ben Kerr,
Director of CGear, “With CGPR’s proven track record of developing strategies to introduce new
outdoor gear to the market, using public relations to drive product sales, and effectively
communicating the brand’s point of difference to consumers, we are confident this will go a long
way to bring our products to new consumers.”
Originally designed by CGear as a deployable helipad to decrease dirt and sand kicked
up by helicopters, CGear first expanded its Sand-Free Multimat to its Australian consumer base
in 2003 and now plans to deploy their product to the United States. The Sand-Free Multimat
allows dirt and sand particles to easily fall through its non-absorbent, mesh-nylon material and
because of its multi-layer design it keeps those same particles from resurfacing.
The CGear Sand-Free Multimat, unlike tarps, is recyclable, mold free, non-abrasive and
is impervious to petrochemicals. The mat is unaffected by salt or acidic ground and constructed
with rip-stop technology, reinforced edges, heavy-duty d-rings and 90+ UV and UV stabilized to

sun. The CGear Sand-Free Multimat is available in sizes from 6’ x 6’ to 10’ x 10’ and in a
multitude of colors that will blend naturally into surroundings. Each Sand- Free Multimat comes
with a drawstring carry bag that holds its light weight (the largest mat weighs only 8.5 lbs), and
the mat can be cleaned by hosing it down or using detergent.
