Our Changing Archie
When our Archie arrived it was
a blank canvas
Our Design
We decided to base our design around our
YFC Taylah Fields definition of Horticulture
“ Everything that grows”
The back of Archie
The back of cow was to be a floral bouquet
representing flowers.
The flowers in our gardens for decoration and
the flowers that grow as a part of food
production, with grasses on the legs
Colour Schemes
We wanted our Archie to be bold and
colourful so we chose a black background
with bright flowers and green for the
grasses on the legs.
The Bee Hind
The bee hind of our cow was to be a hive
for the ever busy bees that pollinate plants
to provide us with our food supply.
Archie’s Head
We decided that we would keep the head of
our cow as realistic as possible .
This also shows how everything that
grows is important to the survival of all our
animals on the planet
The front of Archie
The front we wanted to be a rainbow of
fruits and vegetables.
The Design
We used sponging on the cow using
the colours red , orange, yellow, green,
blue and purple.
The drops represent rain and the circles
sunshine which is vital to all plants survival.
The front Legs
The two front legs of Archie
Leg One – Germination f a seed
Leg Two – What plants need to grow
Farmer Henry
Farmer Henry role is to educates people
