Working for Swift Transportation, I have served in numerous positions within our organization. I was hired in 2001 as shop assistant/parts runner; performing simple task such as maintenance for shop and parts retrieval vehicles and equipment, and retrieving parts and other items as needed. After the Swift Transportation/M.S. Carriers buy out in 2002, I took on the position as a parts specialist consisting of coordinating with parts venders and outside shops (for purchase orders), counting stock orders, stocking shelves and inventory. In 2003 I was offered a position for our Extended Coverage Team (ECT) performing many task from answering drivers’ calls and drivers’ messages to dispatchin
