EOSC WGs 2019
1. Business model, governance structure post 2020, legal entity (Sustainability)
recommendations concerning the implementation of an operational EOSC after 2020, examination of core aspects related
to the business model of EOSC, governance structure after 2020.
2. Mapping national initiatives (Landscape)
alignment of structures and initiatives in Europe including national RIs and e-infrastructures, national open science policies,
ESFRI RIs and cluster projects, thematic initiatives and clouds, EOSC-relevant H2020 projects
3. FAIR implementation - requirements (FAIR)
coordinate activities that implement Open and FAIR practices within EOSC, address cross-disciplinary interoperability and
gather requirements to inform the development of core EOSC services
4. Federated infrastructure and portal evolution (Architecture)
proposing technical arrangements required to enable and sustain an evolving EOSC federation of systems. These may
include standards, APIs and protocols that will facilitate interoperable digital services by diverse providers.
5. Rules of participation
recommending a minimal set of clear RoP that define the rights, obligations and accountability of EOSC transactions by the
various EOSC users, providers and operators.
