Employee of the Month:
We recently learned that
a Spherion Employee's
life was lost due to the
flooding in Washington
County. Darren Mitchell
will be missed and our
prayers go out to his
family and friends. Our
thoughts are with
everyone who was
displaced or affected by
the recent storms.

Take the Long-Term View:
Put things into perspective, this will pass.
Find how to prioritize and re-evaluate your
talents, skills, and experience is a great
way to build your own self-esteem.
Learn how to avoid negative people:
It is easier to be in control when you aren?t
surrounded by anxious, negative, cynical
people . Find an outlet for your frustrations:
Exercise is a great way to blow off steam
and dissipate stress, whether it is walking or
boxing or gardening, it will release tension.
Raise your emotional Self-Awareness:
Learn how to manage your emotions and
hot buttons, control and manage those
triggers .
Watch your body language:
Displaying negative emotions such as
anxiety or frowning will heighten your
emotion. Catch yourself and relax your face!
Dial back on the coffee:
The more coffee you drink, the more
prone your body is to anxiety.
Get a Pen and Paper:
To prevent worries, write down your
worrisome thoughts, it will clear your
mind because you have confronted the
thought.
Sleep:
Getting extra sleep will recharge your
brain and help you wake up alert and
clear-headed .
Breathe:
The practice of being in the moment
with your breathing will train your brain
to focus solely on your task and no the
stress associated with it.
Find and use a support system:
Ask for help when you need it. Using the
support system will make you feel calm
when things are overwhelming.
