-Designed a house for a client. Used sustainability and latest
technology. Learned how to interview, dabbled in creating construction
documents, and practiced presentation skills.

Currently: Designer at La-Z-Boy Troy, MI
Tasks Include: Be ing knowledgeable of all furniture pie ces
and their construction, making appointments, and interacting w ith
clie nts.
I travel to client’s homes, bring out material samples, measure
the space(s) we are focusing on, make 3D floorplans and renderings to
help clients decide on their purchases.
Keeping files ofclient information andthe documents oftheir design
history andinformation.
I was also able to take initiative and exude leadership roles as
well as training new design assistants. Been employed at current location
for about 1year and have been with the company for about 3 years.
