a population of over5,000 to 8,000 people.whoare mainlypastoralistandsmall scale farmers,the
village isabout2 km fromisiolotown,
Maisha bora ismost affectedwithin isiolocentral due totribal clashesandburgeonof diseases which
leftthe communityinapoverty life .the communitylosttheirpropertiestothe Somali andborana
raiders,manyhouseswere torched anddemolishedandlooted duringdaylight,thisbroughtmany
probleminthe community ,egmalnutritiontothe youngchildrenandbreastfeedingmothersforlackof
food,TB ,SKIN DESEASEINFECTION because of sharingof clothand one shelterinmore thanone family.
Thishas leftmanychildren asorphansand a great burden to the handof chronicallyill grand parents
and relatives,
Most of school goingchildrenhasendedupinthe streetandsome as childlabourersandprostitute in
orderto feedtheirsiblingsandoldparents.
INTERVENTION.
By the year 2011 throughpastorngimatof Christianchurchesof GOD and the membersof the
communitysatdownto see the bestsolutiontotackle the problemof ourchildren.
In orderto save thisyoungchildrentoaccessthe educationthe churchestablished a early childhood
developmenteducationschool startingwith60 childrens,someof themhave alreadyjoinedpublic
school inthe county for theirprimarybasiceducation.
CHALLENGES
As the pastrolistandsmall scale farmers due toweatherpatterns the resource availableisbelow
average,we mainlydependonfamilycontributionof ksh20/- eachto feedthose orphanschildrenfive
daysa week.the majorabstaclesinourdevelopmentisasfollows.
1.lack of essential food.
2.humandrug medicine.,egformalaria,typhoid,amoeba,coughing,jiggersdrus,antiseptic,etc.
3.learningmaterial,chalks,books,pens.
Evensome of themwhomwe have senttoother school are in poorsituationandlackof school uniform
as longas theirparentcan not affordtobuy,beside the churchhasnotgrantedant fundto support
them.

2. Survival isa bigdilemma forsuchchildrenswhoare oftenforcedtolive withtraumaof seeingtheir
siblings andoldage parentsbedriddersforlackof foodandthe eventually dying,thisprogramme
therefore plantoinitiate interventionsaimedatspeciallyprolongingtheirlives.
There istherefore needforcomprehensive andextensiveeducationandsupportaimedataddressing
the social cultural issuesthatmitigate the fightagainstilliteracyatthe grassrootlevel.
CASE STUDIES.
School dropout are increasing inthe communityandthisiswhatmostlycreatedinsecurityinthe region
and lackof vocational traininginyouthbesidethatthere are those whoare doingwell intheirsecondary
educationbutlackof sponsorship toenhance anduplift theirstandardof education,oncetheyare
awardedscholarshipandvocational training.
As a cultural habits,earlyplansearlymarriage are inthe increase cause itsmosteasierforthe family
gainmore andsupportthe livingstandardof the family.
The onlyjob forthe income of mostfamiliesistoworkat the slaughterhouse fortheirsurvival ,the
dailywage of shs 50/- a day.i suggestthatif scholarshipandsponsorsare available thoseyoungboys
and girlscould be good future lawa bindingand goodcitizenof Kenya.
