Tecnalia amplia hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2010 el plazo para el call for abstracts de la Conferencia IDDRG 2011 que se celebrará del 5 al 8 de junio de 2011. www.iddrg2011.eu
2. Welcome TECNALIA is honored to host the 2011 IDDRG Conference. The conference will be held from 5-8 June 2011 at the Euskalduna Palace in the center of the Bilbao city.
3. Bilbao Bilbao is historically an industrial city where effort has been expended over the last few years in order to improve its image. It is one of the capital towns of the Basque Country surrounded by mountains and close to the seaside.
4. The Nervion River flowing though the city helped the industrial development in prior years. This large industrial tradition creates a suitable location for fruitful technical sessions regarding industrial applications.
5. Venue Palacio de Congresos y de la Música Euskalduna BILBAO -BIZKAIA http:// www.euskalduna.net
9. 2008: “Best in Class Stamping ” 2009: “ Material Property Data for More Effective Numerical Analysis” 2010: “ Tools and Technologies for the Processing of Ultra High Strength Steels ” 2011: “Towards sustainable sheet forming processes ” Conference Topics
10. Scope The organizers would like to frame the conference considering a global concern, which is currently a target not only for industry but also for consumers, political leaders and business managers: Sustainability. Attempts to move towards this ideal have to deal with subjects like efficient energy consumption, waste material reduction, raw material optimization or the use of lighter materials that would reduce vehicle weight and CO2 emissions. All without forgetting the competitive demand, cost and product quality. To reach this ambitious target in the sheet metal forming sector, the scientific and technological community needs to work together in a wide range of disciplines such as modeling and monitoring, optimization and design, tools and materials, innovative and flexible forming processes . This conference will promote the lively exchanges between engineers and researchers in these fields.
11. PROCESSES Resource efficiency Cost effective forming processes. Flexible forming processes. Innovative and improved forming processes. Innovative and improved tools & dies. Process Control and Monitoring. Optimal design & Intelligent Forming. Trimming & cutting. Hot stamping. Forming of light weight materials. NUMERICAL MODELLING AND SIMULATION Conference Topics MATERIALS New advanced sheet materials. Tool/die materials. Material characterisations: formability, wear, friction, tribology.
