2. Description: The aim of the project is to create a system for the effective video streaming over
the internet. Streaming means sending data, usually audio or video, in a way that allows it to start
being processed before it's completely received. RTP is used to stream audio and video over IP
network. RTP is a Real-time Transport protocol. It provides mechanism for sending and
receiving application to support streaming data.
The webpage is developed in PHP language using Adobe Dreamweaver tool. The
application allows the user to perform video streaming. The user first needs to register to
website, then the user can login. The logged user can perform streaming. In the system the video
streaming is done using RTP. First videos are captured and recorded using a webcam. Then the
recorded videos are uploaded to the database. Now any user can watch the uploaded videos.
Roles and responsibilities: Development & Testing of video uploading page in the website.
Video uploading service allows intended user to upload the video and watch them legally.
Uploaded videos are stored in local database. Any of the registered user as well as non-registered
user can view the uploaded videos. Those videos will appear in the home page. The types of
video content uploaded can be anything from short video clips to full-length movies.
