Stuart is a specialist anaesthetist, simulation educator and researcher working in the South-East of Melbourne. In his clinical work he has an interest in anaesthesia for head and neck and endocrine surgery and airway management. He is also an experienced simulation instructor and has served on boards and executive committees of local and national simulation organisations. His research interests include the use of cognitive aids to modify team behaviour inter-professional communication, and the design of medical devices and environments to enhance patient safety.
