7. In 2009 St Luke’s leadership set out to assess and articulate St Luke’s vision. Over the last year church leaders and staff have worked to define the church’s DNA. We worked with Auxano , a consultant for successful churches around the country, and created a platform for missional movement using a tool called the Vision Frame .
8. Let’s take a look at the major components of the Vision Frame. You will see that it is a conceptual framework through which we can see where God is taking St Luke’s.
16. The Vision Proper is the next mountain we are going to conquer. It is the next major step we take as a community together, living out our mission to be gathered by Jesus to enact faith in love.

18. The mountain we will take…? We will be a church Where No One Walks Alone St Luke’s is a community in which no one walks alone. Christian friendship is the tool we use to change lives. We never give up on one another, and we are not afraid to challenge one another to move forward on the pathway of Christ. Everybody needs a training team. Our favorite invitation is “Hey… Come Walk With Me.”
19. How do we know if we are making progress in becoming a community “Where No One Walks Alone”? By setting milestones to help motivate, challenge, and focus our people towards results.

22. Primary Enablers for 2011 Clarity of Vision We will communicate our vision and learn how to use it to guide much of what we do. Leadership Development We will invest in the development of a new generation of church leaders. Church Structure We will take another look at our church structure and our staff structure to improve efficiency and reinforce our vision. Finances We will find ways to both work more efficiently to control expenses AND expand our contributions through more diligent and focused conversations with our congregation.
