Adi Husada Hospital - Energy Audit | ESCO
Level 1 Energy Audit
SES carried out a Level 1 Energy Efficiency Assessment of Surabaya's
Adi Husada Hospital. The 5-storey hospital employs 250 staff and
services 130 beds. Adi Husada's management implemented the no-
cost efficiency conservation measures suggested by SES and
reduced their energy bill by 15% with no investment.
Level 2 Energy Audit
After success with the Level 1 audit, Adi Husada contracted SES to
do an Investment Grade Audit. SES revisited the site to conduct
more in depth testing of equipment. An additional 25% savings were
confirmed via testing bringing the total project energy savings to
40%.
ESCO Financing
Financing of the new efficient equipment came via ESCO financing.
This means that the hospital was not required to invest any money
however has received a share of the energy savings since the first
day that the equipment was installed. After 5 years, the ownership
of all of the equipment will be handed over to the hospital and they
will receive 100% of the energy savings for the rest of the life of the
equipment.
