Invested all of my working life in the automotive industry, 30 years ago I left school and started work at the Leyland Motors apprentice training centre. Four years later I gained my EITB certificate and a HND and started a job in the instrumentation department at Leyland Technical Centre, the then Leyland DAF Research & Development facility in Leyland. Worked there ever since, and having been in most departments in various capacities, I have gained valuable insight and knowledge into many areas of vehicle test and development.
