I have a strong interest in education in developing countries, particularly in Africa. How to get education to the mass of children who are desperate to learn but do not have the resources, money, technology yet to access it...what does this mean for the future of the "youth bulge"?Is technology the answer? Can the educational publishing industry help, what is the future for textbooks? Or should we leave it all in the hands of the World Bank, OECD, GPE and other aid agencies..considering the state of the MDGs in education, and the falling standards.
