We spend most of our time in built spaces that substantially affects our health, wellbeing, productivity, energy consumption and overall environmental impact. Building accounted for 39% of US primary energy consumption and greenhouse gases emissions and 72% of US electrical energy consumption. I have been working on aspects of each of these issues.
I am focused on finding ways to reduce energy consumption in buildings and, at the same time, improve indoor environmental quality.
